MN: Intense day starts for Sandro Tonali – when he will sign his Milan contract

By Isak Möller -

Sandro Tonali day has begun. The midfielder arrived at La Madonnina clinic for the usual medical tests earlier this morning, ready to start his adventure with Milan. It will be an intense day for the youngster, that’s for sure.

As reported by MilanNews.it, following the medical tests (currently in progress) and the athletic tests, Tonali will return to the hotel. He’s expected to arrive at Casa Milan later in the evening to sign his contract with the Rossoneri.

Milan will face Vicenza in a friendly game at 17:00, so the meeting with the management will take place afterwards. The contract length is five years and Tonali should earn around €2m per year, which isn’t bad for a 20-year-old.

Based on this report, it seems an official announcement could arrive in the evening. For Milan, it’s certainly a statement signing after beating the competition of Inter, as well as several other clubs.
