Juventus might have eventually gotten the better of Frosinone on Sunday at the Allianz Stadium, but Marco Brescianini’s performance has captured some attention.
Calciomercato.com recall that he scored the goal to make it 2-1 to the away side and he will most likely be one of the names that continues to be in the headlines in view of the summer, because several clubs have already set their sights on him.
The sporting director of Frosinone, Guido Angelozzi, spoke about Brescianini in an interview with Tuttosport and explained his belief that he is destined to head to the top.
“Brescianini is a very strong player for me and he can become a Juventus player, a Milan player, an Inter player, a Napoli player… because he has all the requirements,” he began.
“He is a complete midfielder, born in 2000, who comes from an important youth sector like that of Milan and is doing wonderful things in Frosinone. He can do it at a top club.”
The midfielder is one of the most prized pieces in the squad already after they signed him from Milan last summer, and he is already worth over €10m, but the figure could rise further if he guarantees this level of performance until at the end of the season.
The final price will be determined by the market and the offers that arrive, but there is another point not to be forgotten: Milan will collect 50% of the proceeds from a potential sale, as per a clause agreed at the time of his exit.
The percentage would also allow Milan to re-sign him at a figure considerably lower than other clubs, but Brescianini’s return is not a concrete idea at the moment for the Rossoneri. Juventus and Atalanta are keen though, and the list of suitors may grow over the next few weeks.
