MN: Kessie first to reach five yellow cards – the discipline standings at Milan

By Isak Möller -

As a result of the yellow card he got against Sassuolo, Franck Kessie will miss tonight’s clash between Milan and Lazio. It was the Ivorian’s fifth booking and when you get to that stage, you need to sit out one game.

Davide Calabria and Alessio Romagnoli were also booked against Sassuolo and are now getting closer to the suspension mark. The closest, however, is Theo Hernandez who will miss the Benevento game if he gets a yellow tonight.

Last season, Ismael Bennacer was the most booked Milan player but he has improved a lot in this aspect, currently at just one yellow card. Of course, this is also because he has missed quite a few games due to injury.

MilanNews.it summarised the Rossoneri’s ‘discipline standings’ and for now, Hernandez is the only one that needs to be extra careful. On the other hand, it would be better if he missed the Benevento game as Juventus are up after that.

5 yellow cards: Kessie.

4: Theo Hernandez.

3: Calabria, Castillejo, Leao.

2: Gabbia, Ibrahimovic, Rebic, Romagnoli.

1: Bennacer, Donnarumma, Calhanoglu, Kalulu, Kjaer, Krunic, Hauge, Diaz.
