MN: The latest on the condition of Bennacer, Kjaer, Pulisic and Tomori

Ismael Bennacer is progressing in his recovery, once again participating in the first part of group training today. As for Simon Kjaer and Christian Pulisic, the AC Milan fans will have to wait a little longer, a report claims.

Milan had their final training session of the weekend earlier today, with two days off now scheduled, and there was some good news on the injury front. According to MilanNews, Bennacer participated in the first part but didn’t feature in the in-house friendly against the Primavera.

As for Kjaer and Pulisic, they didn’t just work in the gym today, going out on the pitch for some exercises at the end of the session. They are getting closer to a return, in other words, but Stefano Pioli doesn’t want to rush the process ahead of Fiorentina next week.

Fikayo Tomori was subbed off after 45 minutes by England manager Gareth Southgate last night and although he did take a few knocks, the choice was technical. The Milan fans don’t have to be worried about his condition, in other words.

Tomori is a key player for Milan and given that he’s the only centre-back available along with Malick Thiaw right now, an injury would have been disastrous.

No update was provided on Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s injury, as he wasn’t present at the training due to sickness.
