AC Milan have two of their young striker on display at the U19 European Championships as Marko Lazetic and Marco Nasti are hoping to star for Serbia and Italy.
MilanNews recalls how Lazetic – who arrived from Red Star in January and has played mostly with the Primavera – had a great first start against Israel, scoring a goal after just seven minutes with a celebration like Rafael Leao’s after.
For the Italian centre-forward Nasti, he got 90 minutes under his belt and got the assist for Volpato’s winning goal. In short, the two young Milan strikers have been able to impress so far.
The opportunity to play for their country at youth level is crucial for the growth of players with potential like Lazetic and Nasti, and it is also a chance to show off and show their qualities.
At present it is not yet known what the future of the duo will be for next season and they could be sent out on loan for more experience, just like Tommaso Pobega was, but high-level performances in a tournament like this could change the mind of the management.
