MN: Lecce secure arrival of Milan youngster on loan with option to buy

Lorenzo Colombo has only just returned to AC Milan from his loan spell at SPAL but he’s ready to leave the club again. A move to Lecce beckons for the youngster and details of the move have emerged, a report claims.

The 20-year-old striker had a rather average loan spell with SPAL as he found the back of the net six times in 34 games. He did score a few wonderful goals, though, and it’s clear that he has potential to improve further.

In order to do so, however, he needs playing time and Milan are well aware of this. According to MilanNews, they are ready to send him out on loan again and this time to Lecce. In fact, an agreement has more or less been struck.

It will be a season-long loan that includes a buy-out option in favour of Lecce. Milan will not lose control completely, though, as they will have a buy-back clause. The performances of Colombo will decide everything, therefore.
