Ruben Loftus-Cheek was back in training with his AC Milan teammates during today’s session at Milanello, following a one-month injury absence. Therefore, he should be called up against Udinese at the weekend.
The Englishman sustained an injury against Lazio on September 30th and was thus sidelined for just over a month. According to MilanNews, he was back in full training with the Rossoneri earlier today and that is indeed a huge boost for Stefano Pioli.
Simon Kjaer and Christian Pulisc, however, continued their individual programs and it looks like they are aiming for the PSG game. Finally, Samuel Chukwueze is close to returning to group training after doing individual work on the pitch today.
Despite Loftus-Cheek’s return, he’s not expected to play against Udinese on Saturday as Pioli doesn’t want to risk him ahead of PSG. Yunus Musah should keep his spot to the right, therefore, and that is deserved given his recent performances.
His physicality is much needed in this current Milan.
