MN: Loftus-Cheek continues training individually ahead of PSG trip

The latest news regarding Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s condition has arrived from Milanello and it is not exactly positive, according to a report.

Loftus-Cheek has been out since before the Genoa game after he sustained some muscle discomfort and the decision was made to not risk him for last night’s game against Juventus, given he has been training alone and is not at 100%.

According to MilanNews, almost all the Rossoneri squad were part of the training session scheduled for today but Loftus-Cheek was not one of them, as the former Chelsea man continued working individually.

The Englishman hopes to finally getting rid of the discomfort that is keeping him away from group training, but with PSG away looming on Wednesday the chances of him taking part have dropped.

Head coach Stefano Pioli was asked to provide an update on Loftus-Cheek’s condition during his post-match press conference last night.

“Today he was better, let’s see tomorrow. It goes a little every other day, because he has inflammation and now I don’t know. Let’s see tomorrow.”
