AC Milan will be back at the training ground tomorrow to begin preparations for Verona-Milan, the importance of which is now like a final.
It was a heavy Saturday evening for Milan, as Udinese found the back of the net three times and also managed to keep a clean sheet at San Siro. The top-four race has now tightened up, with Juventus just three points behind, and it has put the Rossoneri in a pretty bad position.

Clearly, a good week at Milanello will be needed before the away trip to Verona, where Milan desperately will need to clinch all three points.
Training resumes after lunch
As reported by MilanNews, training will resume tomorrow in the afternoon as the players will have lunch together first. Adrien Rabiot admitted that they are no longer working as a group on the pitch, much less united than before, so perhaps the mentality need the most work next week.
It will also be interesting to see what tweaks Allegri will make to the tactical preparations. A return to the 3-5-2 formation seems nailed on, but perhaps something more will be needed to help the players regain confidence.
Finally, the physical condition of some players will also be assessed. For example, Santiago Gimenez didn’t get a single minute against Udinese but with a good week at Milanello, he might get the chance from start against Verona.
