MN: Messias aiming for Milan debut after taking part in first training session

By Isak Möller -

Junior Messias was announced by AC Milan on the final day of the summer window, and it came as a surprise to many. The Brazilian, who will turn 31 in January, is now aiming for his debut with the Rossoneri.

As highlighted by MilanNews this morning, for the first time in a month, Junior Messias took part in his first training session with Milan. When he joined, the Rossoneri decided that he needed more time to get in shape, thus the delay.

Messias is now hoping to pay back the trust and he wants to be included in the squad for tomorrow’s game. If Stefano Pioli decides to include him, a debut (off the bench) shouldn’t be ruled out but it would depend on the progress of the game.

Certainly, it will be interesting to see the Crotone loanee in action as most of the Milan fans don’t have high hopes with regards to his potential contribution.
