MN: Midfielder to snub Liverpool, Man Utd and Man City to stay at Milan – meeting scheduled

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will soon hold a meeting with Franck Kessie’s agent to try and secure his renewal, according to a report.

MilanNews reports that on Wednesday there will be a summit Milan management and Kessie’s agent George Atangana at Casa Milan, barring any surprises, and the extension of the Ivorian midfielder’s contract will obviously be the main subject of discussion.

Milan will have to raise their current offer to Kessie, with €6m net per season guaranteed or €5.5m plus easily accessible bonuses being the current demand. Three Premier League sides have shown an interest in the meantime, namely Liverpool and the two Manchester clubs.

It could be that Atangana’s strategy is to get as much possible out of Milan, but the player himself might take care of the situation. He has publicly declared his desire to stay with the Rossoneri, and that is why Wednesday’s meeting could be decisive.
