MN: Milan aim to close €5m deal for Bodo/Glimt star Hauge as Man Utd lurk

By Isak Möller -

Jens Petter Hauge continues to be linked with a move to Milan. After we broke the story yesterday morning, several credible outlets have picked up on the matter and it seems negotiations are at an advances stage.

According to MilanNews.it, the Rossoneri are making a serious attempt although they haven’t presented their offer to Bodo/Glimt yet. New contacts with the Norwegian’s agent are expected at the beginning of next week.

There is confidence that an agreement can be reached between the parties at €5m, although Hauge doesn’t exactly lack suitors abroad. Above all, as the report states, Manchester United are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old winger.

Milan’s priority is to sign a centre-back, but at the same time, they want to seize what is a good opportunity on the market. They have been following Hauge for several months and at the reported cost, it could be a bargain for the club.
