MN: Milan working on signing of Montpellier striker ahead of January

AC Milan could sign a centre-forward during the January transfer window and there is a profile in Ligue 1 that is attracting the interest of Geoffrey Moncada, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Milan could intervene in the winter transfer window not only to sign a central defender – given the injuries that have occurred in the department – but also a striker too.

A name followed by the management with great interest is that of Akor Adams, a Nigerian striker who is currently at Montpellier and is in second place in the Ligue 1 scoring charts with seven goals.

The player has been the subject of positive reports from scouts and Moncada really likes him. It is a name that the club are already working on for the January transfer window.

Adams joined Norwegian side Sogndal from Jamba Football Academy in Nigeria five years ago, then left in 2021 and signed as a free agent for Lillestrøm. He made the move to France in August of this year, and it has so far proven to be a successful addition.
