AC Milan are making progress in talks over Charles De Ketelaere as the player is willing to snub a move to the Premier League, a report claims.
According to a report from MilanNews, De Ketelaere is the player that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have designated as the number one target for the attack and the ‘absolute favourite’ option ahead of the summer window, more so than Nicolo Zaniolo.
Contrary to the rumours launched by some sources earlier today either one arrives or the other will: for them both to arrive together is impossible for economic reasons.
Club Brugge started with an asking price of €40m for the 21-year-old playmaker which seems to have dropped to around €35, including bonuses. Milan would like to allocate a total of €30m to the operation.
The player has already said yes to the Rossoneri and is not tempted at the moment by the interest from Premier League side Leicester City.
that’s what I like to hear! 🔴⚫
Same here brother…!
Good news
He obviously doesn’t want to be fourth choice at Leicester, behind Vardy, Iheanacho & Daka. Better he goes to an easier league with less competition.
AHhahahahahhaah…Nice Try. That made my day.
Leicester, lol
@Wigstonfox, I hope you ain’t referring to the Serie A as an easier league with less competition?
And if you were to be a footballer and given the chance to choose between Milan and Leicester, I guess your choice is already clear for all to see.
Money grabbing machine 😂😆🤣.
Why are you hoping, it exactly what I mean. The Premier League is the most competitive league in Europe & if you think otherwise then you’re a fool.
If true, which I doubt, he clearly has no ambition by not wanting compete in the best league in the world
Best league in the world?
Based on what metric?
Money
Premier best in the world by far
Cripple please why is it that no premiership team, Your best league by far, won any European trophy last season
Any wise player would choose Milan over Leicester. How many UCL trophies does Leicester has? And let’s not forget that the coach that won their championship was an … Italian. Not to mention the history of Milan.
It’s insult to Milan to compare them with liecester city
Well, any young player would choose AC Milan. The team have been doing great with managing young talents to next level. Anyone has a chance here. And Leicester don’t play in UCL. So his choice is pretty clear besides he could probably make more cash in England.
Wise decision. He can get more money on leicester but choose to increase his career by playing on CL team also have good history
