MN: Milan at risk of impoverishing good work – they must become sharks on the market

AC Milan are at risk of undoing their good work unless they become more predatory on the market with regards to negotiating over players.

MilanNews reports how the Rossoneri management have run into difficulties securing the renewal of Franck Kessie and are at risk of losing him on a free transfer, just as they may with other key players such as Theo Hernandez and Ismael Bennacer unless they change their renewal strategy to be more proactive.

The other point on which the Milan directors must improve, the report writes, is to act exactly as the other teams do with them. An example might be to snatch Lorenzo Pellegrini from Roma given that he has an expiring contract, has not yet renewed, is one of the best Italian midfielders and could be an attacking midfielder with quality and different skills to Brahim Diaz.

Milan have to start becoming sharks and more operational on the market, otherwise the risk of impoverishing what has been done in recent years is always around the corner, MilanNews concludes.
