MN: Milan to be backed by around 6,000 fans against Roma – protest planned

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan should be backed by a huge away following for tonight’s game at the Stadio Olimpico against Roma despite the high ticket prices.

According to MilanNews, the Stadio Olimpico will be sold out tonight and while most of the stadium will be in red and yellow, there will also be a large representation of Rossoneri fans.

Almost 6,000 Milan supporters are expected in the away sector for the game, in spite of the fact that Roma decided to set the prices for away tickets at €65 though Salenitana were charged €35 in the previous game.

In a statement released on Instagram on Wednesday, the Curva Sud expressed further anger about the price of away tickets in Serie A which are not standardised.

A banner calling for cheaper away tickets was unveiled by the Curva Sud against Torino at San Siro last weekend and as well as having that banner at the Olimpico, fans will be silent for 15 minutes.

  1. Silent protest hurts who, Roma? They don’t give an Sh!t… They still collect the 65 per head, silent or not. It only hurts the team. Get it together. These silent protests are useless.
