MN: Milan closing in on securing renewals of influential trio – all the details

AC Milan are close to being able to confirm contract renewals for three of their most influential players, according to a report.

MilanNews are stating that Zlatan Ibrahimovic does not want to leave Milan for Hammarby just yet and is ready to reduce his economic demands for the new one-year contract year that he should sign.

Milan on Sunday took a further step forward by confirming that he will be a central part of the plans next season too, with the 38-year-old keen on staying due to the permanence of Pioli, as well as Paolo Maldini too in all likelihood.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has also shown his will to remain with the Rossoneri. He will renew until 2023 with a salary confirmed at €6m per season net and work is being done on bonuses.

There is the possibility of a release clause being inserted as Mino Raiola would prefer one. His wish is clear: to support the will of his client, but leaving a margin to evaluate what Milan will become .

Hakan Calhanoglu’s agent Gordon Stipic meanwhile has had several contacts with Maldini and Massara and his client wishes to stay too. It is possible that a release clause is inserted in the Turkey international’s contract too, but it will have to be the right amount to satisfy both Milan and the player.
