MN: Milan consider Barcelona, PSV duo the fix problem area but Spurs man is first choice

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are giving priority to the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic but are continuing to work on potential signings too, a report claims.

One of the problem areas that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara must address is the right side of the defence, as Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti have struggled for consistency all season.

According to MilanNews, the Rossoneri are continuing to study the possibility of making a concrete attempt to sign Serge Aurier from Spurs, who at the moment seems to be ahead of both PSV Eindhoven captain Denzel Dumfries and Barcelona’s Emerson Royal on the wish list, with Barca requesting €30m for the latter.

The club are evaluating Aurier from all points of view, from the human side to the technical and economic aspect, and then once information has been collected it will lead to the final choice.

It is possible that Maldini and co. could deem the 27-year-old as an important opportunity to reinforce the right side.
