MN: Milan consider Taremi and Isaksen concrete options for striker and right wing roles

AC Milan want to sign a centre-forward and a right winger as soon as possible and they are keeping their options open, according to a report.

MilanNews reports that the cost of the Alvaro Morata operation is becoming high. In addition to the €20m release clause, the 30-year-old would receive a high salary and the Growth Decree would not apply.

Thus, the Rossoneri are looking at other names like that of Mehdi Taremi. The Iran international – who is also 30 years of age – is on the list of options and his deal with Porto expires in June 2024.

However, the obstacle would be the non-EU status that Taremi has, because in the event of his arrival at Milan other players without an EU passport cannot be registered.

One of those non-EU players is Samuel Chukwueze of Villarreal. The operation is proceeding ahead but the costs are not low and so Milan are monitoring other opportunities, such as Gustav Isaksen.

The Danish winger scored 22 goals for Midtjylland last season and followed with great interest last season by Milan’s scouts, but Juventus are also interested in the 22-year-old.
