AC Milan are continuing to target two players from the Premier League as Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara look to give Stefano Pioli a complete squad.
That is according to MilanNews, who report that Chelsea midfielder Timoué Bakayoko and Spurs full-back Serge Aurier are two names that the Milan management have been in talks over for days now.
The two players have both given their approval regarding a move, but terms must be agreed with the duo as well as an agreement found with their respective clubs.
Bakayoko could accept a lower salary of around €3.5m net (he currently earns €6m) with bonuses that would take the amount close to €4.5m, while Chelsea have set the asking price at €20m for now.
The situation is similar for Aurier too. Tottenham want €23m for the Ivorian, but Milan do not want to go beyond €16m and have alternatives lined up in PSV captain Denzel Dumfries and, above all, Emerson Royal.
For Emerson, Barcelona need to lower the €30m request but Davide Calabria could go to Real Betis (where Emerson is currently on loan) to satisfy the Andalusian club.
