MN: Milan could miss out on friendly as Chievo cancel clash against Legnago

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the Europa League qualifiers, taking on Shamrock Rovers in the third round, Milan have scheduled a few friendlies to be in the best shape possible. However, one of their planned encounters could be cancelled.

The Rossoneri have already played two friendly games this pre-season: a 60-minute game against Novara and a full one against Monza. They won both of them, 4-2 and 4-1 respectively, but they still need some work to get to a good level.

Tomorrow, they will take om Vicenza at Milanello and it will most likely be another 60-minute game. Milan had also scheduled a game against Chievo on Sunday at San Siro, but this clash is now at risk of being cancelled.

As reported by MilanNews.it, the Serie B side were forced to cancel their friendly with Legnago due to three positive coronavirus cases in the team. Therefore, the game against Milan could also be cancelled, but nothing official has been released yet.
