MN: Milan could replace Kessie with expiring Marseille star – their summer attempt

Franck Kessie has been at the centre of attention lately as he’s yet to sign a renewal with AC Milan. In fact, the situation seems to be very complicated and the Rossoneri might have to look for a replacement.

According to MilanNews, if there are no updates on the renewal between now and January, Milan will start looking around on the market with more purpose. One of the players that they are following is Boubacar Kamara.

The 21-year-old’s contract with Marseille will expire in June 2022 and the Rossoneri tried to sign him already this summer. The high demands of €20m, however, resulted in them not accelerating the negotiations.

The French side are still insisting on the renewal and are hoping that Kamara will sign. However, as is the case with Kessie, offers will arrive from other clubs and that could change a lot. Kamara, therefore, could be Kessie’s replacement at Milan.
