MN: Milan dealt blow as Rebic most likely won’t make Roma clash – the latest

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will be able to rely on Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz from start against Roma on Sunday, as both have recovered from Covid-19. Another key player, namely Ante Rebic, most likely won’t make it though.

According to the latest reports from MilanNews, Rebic trained individually at Milanello today as well and is thus still struggling with the ankle injury. He sustained it in the game against Hellas Verona and has been out since.

The chances of seeing him on the pitch this weekend are, therefore, decreasing and it’s not exactly good news for the Rossoneri. As a result, it should be Rafael Leao on the left flank once again, which isn’t bad considering his start.

Every player needs rest, though, and we are starting to see that on Leao’s performances. In other words, the return of Rebic will be very important as the schedule is very tight and requires depth.
