MN: Milan defender flies to Moscow to undergo medical – he will leave permanently

Diego Laxalt’s move from AC Milan to Dynamo Moscow is expected to be made official very soon, according to a report.

Laxalt joined Milan in the 2018 summer transfer window but in truth he never established himself, following up a loan spell at Torino with another loan this season to Scottish Premier League side Celtic.

The Uruguay international looked like he could be set for a resurgence in Scotland as he seemed a good fit for Neil Lennon’s 3-5-2 and impressed early on, but once they switched to a back four he found playing time harder and harder to come by and they have decided not to pursue a permanent deal.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Laxalt flew to Moscow this morning with his first medical examinations with Dynamo scheduled for today, and then he will sign his new contract with the Russian club. As expected, he will leave Milan permanently.
