MN: Milan expected to complete important double signing ahead of Sampdoria game

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are at work to complete the squad ahead of Monday’s season opener against Sampdoria, with two arrivals seemingly imminent.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Alessandro Florenzi of Roma is expected to arrive in the next few hours as the seventh signing of the summer, after Maignan, Tomori, Tonali, Brahim Diaz, Giroud and Ballo-Toure. The right-back can play in different roles and brings international experience, and will join following Italy’s win at the Euros.

The formula will be a paid loan with an option to buy for a total of around €4m, but the deal is not yet closed and today the clubs will try to find a definitive agreement. The 30-year-old pushed has pushed hard to join the Rossoneri and can’t wait to start his new adventure.

Yacine Adli of Bordeaux is also close to joining Milan, as confirmed several times by their president Gerard Lopez. There are some details to settle with Bordeaux, but an agreement over personal terms has been done for some time.
