MN: Milan expecting new offer from Eintracht Frankfurt for winger – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expecting a new bid from Eintracht Frankfurt for winger Jens Petter Hauge once a couple of sales have gone through, a report claims.

It seems as though Hauge’s days at Milan are numbered as he asked not to be included in Saturday night’s friendly against OGC Nice amid speculation from multiple sources that talks are advanced over a switch to the Bundesliga less than a year after his arrive from Bodo/Glimt.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Eintracht Frankfurt will not give up on Hauge and over the next few days – or when the German club finalise the sales of Younes and Kostic – they should send Milan a new offer for the Norwegian winger.

Eintracht initially offered €8m plus €4m in bonuses, and the new offer should rise to a fixed base of €10m plus €2m in easily reachable bonuses, significantly shortening the gap with Milan’s request of €12m guaranteed.

If everything goes according to Eintracht’s plans, it should lead to an improved offer that could finally convince Milan to sell.
