MN: No Milanello, no offers – Milan facing issues selling Origi and Ballo-Toure

AC Milan must focus on the outgoing players this summer as much as they focus on any inbound names, given there are several players who are without a future at the club.

Although Milan have a large budget for the mercato, they want to make the most of it and are aiming to get rid of several players who returned at the end of the last season to maximise their opportunities this summer.

Before the mercato opened, there were nine players that the Rossoneri wanted to part with, and so far they have struggled to make much progress with these aims, with three players standing out – Alexis Saelemaekers, Divock Origi, and Fode Ballo-Toure.

For the Belgian winger, things are not too complicated, and there is interest from the Diavolo and elsewhere in his future. However, for the latter duo, things are not entirely positive.

Milan News have reported that the duo are training away from Milanello, per an agreement with the club, likely due to their future being away from Milan. However, a future is difficult to see for both.

Origi is still waiting for an offer from elsewhere, meaning a mutual termination could be on the cards. For Ballo-Toure, he seeks a move back to the Premier League, but the interest is non-existent from England’s top division.
