MN: Milan finalising Ibrahimovic’s renewal – progress made for Chelsea, Real Madrid duo

By Isak Möller -

As pre-season is underway, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are working to hard to reinforce the squad with a few targeted signings. It seems they could complete three important operations in the coming days, a report claims.

According to Antonio Vitiello of MilanNews.it, after reaching the definitive economic agreement, lawyers and tax experts are working to draft Ibrahimovic’s contract. The Swede accepted the new offer between last night and this morning.

Furthermore, the Rossoneri have also ‘made progress’ for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Brahim Diaz. The duo – who certainly would reinforce the midfield – has been heavily linked with Milan in the last week and it seems the rumours emerged for a reason.

Three important operations, in other words, that could be completed in just a few days. Some Milan fans – with less than one month to go – had raised doubts about the lack of signings, to which the Rossoneri management now is ready to reply.
