MN: Milan have decided to keep Rafael Leao as they still have high hopes

By Isak Möller -

Rafael Leao has never really been on the market but an exit has never been ruled out by Milan, willing to listen to offers. However, they have now decided to not sell the Portuguese youngster, a report claims.

Just over an hour before the friendly clash between Nice and Milan, which Leao is expected to start in, important news have arrived regarding his future. According to MilanNews, Milan have decided to keep the youngster.

In other words, he’s not for sale and the Rossoneri will not listen to any offers. The decision was made because Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara strongly believe in Leao’s talent, but also because Jens Petter Hauge is on his way out.

As mentioned, Leao is expected to start up front for the team against Nice this evening, although his main position this upcoming season will most likely be left-wing. Either way, we now know that he will stay at the club.
