MN: Milan have not abandoned deal for €30m-rated Chelsea midfield outcast – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not yet abandoned the idea of signing Tiemoue Bakayoko but a deal remains difficult at present, a report claims.

It seems that negotiations between Milan and Chelsea for Tiemoue Bakayoko have become one of the most drawn-out sagas of the currently window.

After at first it appeared a formality that Bakayoko would return, it is now uncertain when a decisive breakthrough could occur, one way or another.

There have been rumours in England, Italy and in France that Paris Saint-Germain have inserted themselves firmly into the race for the 26-year-old, making a concrete offer.

However, according to MilanNews, the Rossoneri management have not yet abandoned the path that leads to Bakayoko, but the operation remains difficult due to the very high demands of Chelsea.

Milan still want the French midfielder and hope that in the very last hours of the market an agreement can be reached at lower figures than the €30m requested by the Blues for the option to buy.
