MN: Milan have positive feelings regarding Tonali operation but face a June 16 deadline

AC Milan are still at work to try and secure the signing of Sandro Tonali from Brescia on a permanent basis, according to a report.

MilanNews recalls the operation that brought Tonali to his boyhood club: a paid loan of €10m, €15m for the option to buy and a further €10m in bonuses. Tonali’s first season in the Rossoneri was certainly not easy due to missing a chunk of preseason and also displaying difficulty adapting to the double pivot, but the club’s intention is to focus again on Italian talent.

According to what the report stats, the Rossoneri management are at work to reshape formulas and possible deferred payments regarding the outright purchase of the Italy international and there is confidence that the outcome of the negotiations with Cellino, the president of Brescia.

However, there is a deadline on the horizon because Lega Serie A clubs for domestic transfers establish a date by which options to buy must be exercised: in Italy it is June 16 and not June 30. Therefore, Milan have just over a week of time available.
