MN: Milan expecting almost a full house against Empoli – tickets sold thus far

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Empoli on Saturday evening and following the win against Napoli, putting them back in first, it will be important to get another win. It’s clear that the Rossoneri will have the support of their fans.

Some reports even suggested that 50k tickets had been sold to date, but MilanNews are now stating that it isn’t quite as much, although not far away at 43k. Milan are expecting to have around 50k present, which isn’t bad for a Saturday game.

Considering that the cap is currently at 75%, which means San Siro can host around 59k, it will almost be sold out on Saturday. The game is scheduled for 20:45 CET and it could be a great clash underneath the floodlights.

Empoli have been one of the surprises this season and Milan cannot afford to underestimate them. Having said that, the first leg ended 4-2 in the Rossoneri’s favour and they are certainly the favourites for this one.
