AC Milan have had a very impressive amount of fans present at San Siro this season and the enthusiasm is still very high. With all the Covid restrictions lifted, the stadium is once again a fortress.
Milan clearly struggled without their fans at San Siro, thus shining when playing away from home instead. There has clearly been a home advantage for the Rossoneri this season, though, with the fans turning up in high numbers.
According to MilanNews, there have been more than 350k fans present at San Siro across five home games thus far. That is an average of 70k per game and that is more or less sold out, which says a lot about the Rossoneri’s success.
Milan will need the support of their fans to replicate the Scudetto season and they have certainly got it so far. The home game against Chelsea is already sold out and the Juventus clash will be too (the general sale opens Thursday).
