MN: Milan intend to sign a young striker this month amid Pellegri’s early exit

By Isak Möller -

Pietro Pellegri is expected to return to Monaco in the coming days as AC Milan failed to reach an agreement over a permanent transfer. With this in mind, the Rossoneri want to bring in a new youngster, a report claims.

The Italian striker has only played 127 minutes for Milan this season, struggling with several injuries, and a loan to Torino is now on the cards. The Rossoneri initially wanted to loan him out themselves but failed to reach an agreement with Monaco.

According to MilanNews, next week will be a busy one for Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara as it’s the final one of the transfer window. The intention is now to bring in a young striker as well as a centre-back, given the early exit of Pellegri.

This is the idea of the Rossoneri and it remains to be seen if it will materialise or not, as the report concludes. There will perhaps be more updates on the matter in the coming days.
