MN: Milan locked in talks with Man Utd over full-back – €4-5m requested for loan renewal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are expected to put forward a new offer to re-sign Diogo Dalot from Manchester United, according to a report.

MilanNews writes that Milan are engaged in dialogue with Manchester United to try and bring Dalot back after he spent last season on loan with the Rossoneri, proving himself to be a versatile option given his ability to play both right-back and left-back.

The formula that Milan want is a loan with option to buy as opposed to the deal agreed last summer which did not have any buy-out option. The Red Devils are asking for €4-5m to agree to a loan and at the moment there is no agreement between the two clubs.

Milan were hoping to invest less to have Dalot on loan again, a player considered reliable by Pioli, who improved a lot in the second half of the season. If he were to come back, he would be the deputy to Davide Calabria on the right.
