MN: Milan looking for Calhanoglu’s replacement – three playmakers emerge as targets

AC Milan are in the market for two players who can play the number 10 role ahead of the new season, according to a report.

MilanNews reports that Brahim Diaz is set to fill one of the positions as a deal has been agreed for a few days now, but the end of the European Championships is expected in order to accelerate. The formula has been agrees so head coach Stefano Pioli can look forward to having his ‘wild card’ back again.

However, he is unlikely to be the only attacking midfielder that joins because the quality of the squad must be kept high. There are a number of different profiles being monitored, such as Marcel Sabitzer of RB Leipzig, Isco of Real Madrid and Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea.

It will be a market of opportunities for the Rossoneri management, who know that they must get the signing of Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement spot on.
