AC Milan are in discussions with Ismael Bennacer over the renewal of his contract and talks are progressing positively, according to a report.
MilanNews reports that Milan are trying to work under the radar to complete some key renewals and negotiations are developing between the Rossoneri management and Bennacer over the extension of his contract. The Algeria international currently earns less than €2m net per season and there is talk of a pay rise and his deadline being moved beyond the current one of 2024.
From Casa Milan optimism filters regarding the success of the talks, as both sides wish to continue together for some time to come. Bennacer has certainly become one of the pillars of Pioli’s Milan which places a heavy emphasis on strength in depth in the midfield, and he has shown an ability to partner well either with Franck Kessie or Sandro Tonali in the double pivot.
