MN: Milan management looking to sign two new strikers – Chelsea man should be one

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to sign two strikers this summer who each offer something different to head coach Stefano Pioli, according to a report.

The renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a sign of continuity that Milan wanted to give to the group, but it has been reported that the Rossoneri want a new striker. The Swede will be the leader of a young and growing team for another year, but his injury problems this season have shown he can’t play close to every game.

That is why Maldini and Massara are also considering other profiles that can alternate with Ibra and allow him to manage his work load, and MilanNews writes that not just one but two new centre-forwards are likely to arrive. One should be Olivier Giroud who would arrive on a free transfer when his contract with Chelsea expires, while the other should be a young player of high potential, who can fit in without too much pressure.
