AC Milan midfielder Rade Krunic had received praise for the important job that he has done for the club this season despite not being one of the headline makers, a report claims.
As has been pointed out by Milan News, the Bosnian midfielder has actually been one of Stefano Pioli’s most trusted performers in what has been a very tough season at times.
The former Empoli player has shown versatility when Pioli was left with no choice but to try new formations and start putting players in different roles where they could turn the team’s fortunes around.
This was shown in recent weeks when Pioli decided that he wanted to use Ismael Bennacer in the No.10 role. He still needed a deeper player alongside Sandro Tonali and Krunic dropped into that role excellently.
He is not the sort of player that is spoken about in the same breath as Rafael Leao, Brahim Diaz, Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori, but his importance to the team cannot be understated.
Very useful player!!
🥰
A silent but important player for us. He easily fit in into any system or formation the coach is playing and also help defensively. Cool and calm player. Forza Milan
