MN: Milan monitoring development of loanee – the upper management are not yet convinced

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to monitor the development of midfielder Tommaso Pobega with an eye to bringing him back to base, a report claims.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Torino boss Ivan Juric is frustrated by the fact that his work in the development of Pobega will only be ‘exploited’ by Milan, who chose to let the Italy U21 international leave on a dry loan – therefore with no option or obligation to buy.

However, Franco Ordine writes in his piece that Pobega is not exactly highly esteemed by the upper management, even if it is premature to talk about him being anything close to the finished product.

In the meantime it is appropriate to let the player mature under Juric at Torino in a five-man midfield that requires more physical than technical prowess. Pobega could become useful for Milan heading into next season, but no assessments have been made yet.
