AC Milan have three league games before the World Cup break and they must end 2022 on a high note starting tonight against Spezia.
MilanNews reports how the reaction to the defeat against Torino in the league last weekend was a dominant performance against Red Bull Salzburg in the round of 16 of the Champions League, and now the Rossoneri are very keen to end this first part of the season well.
Milan want revenge against Spezia after what happened back in January, when the referee Serra did not play advantage after a foul just as Junior Messias curled a shot into the top corner. An incensed Rossoneri would then go on to concede a winner to Gyasi right at the death.
This time, Milan absolutely need the three points both to respond to the Torino defeat but also to take advantage of the games happening this weekend in Atalanta-Napoli, Roma-Lazio and Juventus-Inter. Should Milan win, they will gain points on at least three of the aforementioned opponents.
