MN: Milan need a perfect game in Bergamo – responsibility passes to Leao

By Isak Möller -

Milan have almost been certain of a top-four finish for most of the season but as a result of several poor results recently, they could miss out. They have one last chance to avoid this, taking on Atalanta away from home tonight.

As highlighted by MilanNews, the Rossoneri have struggled with injuries throughout the season and tonight is no different for them. In addition to Matteo Gabbia and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ante Rebic will also miss out on the action.

As Mario Mandzukic doesn’t have 90 minutes in his legs, responsibility will pass to Rafael Leao who will start up front this evening. Portuguese youngster isn’t really a centre-forward, so he will need to be really good tonight.

For Milan, taking on a team that is very hard to beat, a miracle will be needed. But with a perfect match, they could really secure their ticket to next season’s Champions League, which would be a big achievement.
