MN: Milan retain interest in Arsenal forward but must raise bid amid competition

By Oliver Fisher -

Reiss Nelson is a player that AC Milan are yet to give up on given he has not renewed his contract with Arsenal at present, a report claims.

As reported by MilanNews, Milan interest in signing Nelson remains but there is competition for the right winger, who has offers from Germany and England that are higher than what the Rossoneri have put forward.

If Milan want to sign the 23-year-old on a free transfer then they must raise their offer or they risk missing out on a young talent who is one of the big opportunities in the Bosman market.

Despite reports that Nelson seems to be closing in on extending his deal with Arsenal, there has not yet been any official announcement and he hardly seems to be a big part of Mikel Arteta’s plans either.

He played just 202 minutes in the Premier League for the Gunners in 2022-23 but he racked up three goals and two assists, which is a goal contribution roughly every 40 minutes.
