MN: Milan have not decided capacity of their new stadium – the latest

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have officially started the process for a new stadium in the San Donato area and a report on the capacity emerged this morning. However, this is not something the Rossoneri have decided yet.

This morning, La Repubblica reported that Milan are set to build a 60k stadium in the San Francesco area (which is within San Donato). This does indeed sound low given that the average this season was nearly 72k per game.

Fortunately, as highlighted by MilanNews, Milan have not made any official decision on the capacity yet and the idea is to build a 65-70k stadium. It will be possible to do this in the San Francesco area, but anything bigger than that will cost a lot more money.

Good news for the Rossoneri fans, as Milan need a stadium that is close to 70k. Gerry Cardinale and his advisors also know that a bigger capacity will give them greater chances of hosting a Champions League final or similar events in the future.

    1. Inter has stadium?🤣🤣 If you see: Chelsea has smaller stadium, than Arsenal and Tottenham, yet they are more successful than the latter two..
