MN: Milan will not release their squad list for Roma clash – the reason

AC Milan will face Roma later tonight and due to many absences, it will be a makeshift XI for the Rossoneri. And to make matters even more special, their squad list for the game won’t be released.

A total of five players have tested positive for Covid-19 this week (three new last night) and Ciprian Tatarusanu is the only one that has been named by Milan. The others requested the club to keep their names private.

Therefore, as reported by Anto Vitiello of MilanNews, the Rossoneri won’t release their squad list as they usually would ahead of a game. Of course, it has pretty much already been confirmed who the positive players are.

As it turns out, the decision was also made as Milan weren’t sure when they would get the rest results from this morning’s Covid tests.

In any case, we will find out for sure when the official XI is announced by the club (unless they decide to keep that private, too). Hopefully, Pioli’s men will come away with all three points from the game.
