MN: Milan offered Marseille star with expiring contract in bargain €15m deal

By Isak Möller -

In the last few days of the transfer window, which almost always are hectic, many players are being linked with Milan. The Rossoneri aren’t done just yet and although the defence is the priority, other profiles could arrive as well.

According to MilanNews.it, the agent of Florian Thauvin has offered the right-winger to Milan in recent days. Marseille are asking for €15m to part ways with their star, whose contract will expire next summer.

The player, who has collected two goals and two assists in the first five games, likes the idea of moving to Milan and it remains to be seen if there is room for negotiating. If the French side are set on the price tag, another plan could be initiated.

Thauvin’s contract will, as mentioned, expire next summer and the Rossoneri could try to block him for next season. In any case, €15m would be an absolute steal as the 27-year-old clearly is worth more (valued at €32m by Transfermarkt).
