AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign a striker from Southampton before the close of the transfer window, according to a report.
As we head towards the final three days of the mercato, we are also entering the period where agents get in touch with clubs and offer their clients as last-minute solutions, perhaps where they have positions of need.
According to the latest from MilanNews, the agents of Sékou Mara – a French striker currently playing at Southampton in the Championship – has been proposed to Milan by his entourage.
The 21-year-old Frenchman has two goals and three assists for Southampton in 33 appearances, having amassed seven goals and four assists in 36 games for Bordeaux before moving to England.
However, the reply from the Milan management was that they are fully focused on getting a deal over the line for Mehdi Taremi with Porto, so that has their full priority.
Nope … Just sign up gift Emmanuel Orban from KAA Gent
2 goals in 33 appearances as a central forward. Definitely not good enough
If you wanna give me anyone from Southampton, give me Kamaldeen
No, Thank You.
7 goals in 36 games?…….hmmm WUT!
As a Bordeaux supporter (he is from the academy) I agree that there is quality and talent there but he is way too raw at the moment. Southampton is an excellent team to develop. His contract is until 2026, so I don’t think we should go for him yet.
