MN: Milan players granted three days off after crucial win against Cagliari

By Isak Möller -

Following the win against Cagliari, and amid the upcoming international break, AC Milan players have been granted three days off. It’s rest that they could use after what will be a crucial period.

Of course, some Rossoneri players will be heading out on international duty during the break, meaning the rest will most likely be scarce. In either case, Stefano Pioli and his men will have time to fine-tune things.

According to MilanNews, training will resume on Wednesday and that means three days off if you include today (Sunday). The next game is obviously scheduled for after the international break and that means two weeks of ‘rest’.

The win against Cagliari maintained their position at the top of the standings and they also extended their lead on Inter from four to six points. They have everything in their hands Scudetto-wise but it’s clear that it won’t be easy.
