AC Milan are trying to apply more pressure to French striker Marcus Thuram as they seek a free transfer for the player, a report claims.
As has been reported by Milan News, Milan appear to be moving faster in their pursuit of Thuram as they try to get their first deal of the summer over the line.
There are a lot of wealthy teams that are trying to get Thuram to join them on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach. Milan have to act quickly before his demands get too high.
It seems that Milan are willing to offer him €5 million per season which would make him one of the highest-paid players in the squad immediately. There would also be bonuses to earn there.
Paris Saint-Germain have been the favourites to get the son of Lillian Thuram but they appear to be hesitating about pulling the trigger, which Milan could take advantage of.

Clearly Thuram wants playing time which is why he has not just signed for massive money with PSG.
I can’t work out why Utd is not in this race because it needs a #9 and doesn’t have the money to spend on an Oshimen level player and probably doesn’t want to go all in on Hojlund (as that is a lot of pressure for a 19yo). Thuram is a great fit and enables them to sign Hojlund and then give him time to grow into the role.
3 years for Thuram to make a play at the next world cup. During that time Hojlund becomes a complete machine. Thuram can then think more about money than playing time.
