AC Milan are ready to step up their pursuit of Wigan’s Antonee Robinson as Ricardo Rodriguez continues to head towards the exit door, a report claims.
According to MilanNews.it, the Turkish Federation has given the go-ahead to Fenerbahce to complete their move for Rodriguez. Financial Fair Play is no longer a problem and the Istanbul side can present Milan with an official offer for the Swiss full-back.
In recent days, a draft agreement has been found on the basis of a loan with a obligation to buy set at €5million.
Milan, should Rodriguez’s sale go to port, do not want to be caught unprepared: the pursuit of Wigan’s Antonee Robinson has intensified. For the 22-year-old full-back the request from the Championship side is currently around €10-12million.
However, the Rossoneri are trying to lower the price for the player they consider to be their primary target to reinforce the left-back position.
